Painter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Painter Specialist to join our team at GX Painting Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience with various painting techniques, including brush painting, conventional spray painting, and roller painting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
• Mix and apply paint to desired colour and texture.
• Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed.
• Estimate costs and materials for painting projects.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in painting and wall covering.
• Ability to work at heights and in various locations.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability and flexibility.

Working Conditions:

• Physical demands include bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Language: English. Work Term: Permanent. Hours: 30 hours per week. Education: No degree required. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
