Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organized Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Glorious Family Care Home.

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring a high level of attention to detail, with an emphasis on cleanliness and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of our home, including daily cleaning tasks, laundry, and linen management.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all areas of the home, including floors, walls, windows, and surfaces
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks, such as making beds, changing sheets, and distributing clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock and maintain the linen closet, ensuring that all linens and supplies are readily available
  • Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding clothes
  • Empty trash and recycling containers regularly
  • Participate in deep cleaning tasks, such as polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; no degree, certificate, or diploma preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
Working Conditions

This role requires working on-site at our care home. We do not offer remote work options.

Salary Estimate
