Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY CANADA INC. as a Night Shift Electrical Specialist. This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate of $37.07 plus a night premium of $1.25/hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize electrical measuring and testing equipment to ensure high-quality work.
  • Apply organizational methods and methodologies to prioritize and plan work efficiently.
  • Use internal systems for product identification, tagging, and tracking.
  • Solve complex problems requiring in-depth fact-finding and analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and experience.
  • Participate in the development of methods, instructions, and tests.
Requirements
  • College diploma in electronics, instrumentation, and controls, or a related field.
  • 12 to 24 months of experience in electrical work.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, Microsoft Office, and metric and international systems.
  • Behavioral skills: teamwork, self-control, impact and influence, communication, and firmness.
  • Fluency in English (an asset).
