We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Repair Shop Foreman to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of technicians to ensure efficient and effective repair and maintenance of vehicles.
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Test and adjust units to specifications.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
- Coach and instruct apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Provide customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components as needed.
- Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement.
- Truck-Trailer Repairer Red Seal Endorsement.
- Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
- Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Fast-paced environment.
