Job Summary

EMCO Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler and Counter Sales Teammate to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse and sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by accurately receiving, storing, and shipping customer orders, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify vendor shipments and customer returns, noting any discrepancies or damaged material
  • Enter material received into the computer system and move product to designated locations
  • Load and unload trucks, operate forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Assist customers with inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Enter, pick, and pack sales orders, and research and source products as required by customers
  • Pick material for customer orders, counting and comparing items to shipping documentation
  • Assemble material and pack appropriately for pickup or shipment to customers
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety by removing empty cartons, metal banding, pallets, and other debris
  • Inform the Supervisor of any inventory discrepancies and damaged/defective material that would impact customer service levels

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, Post Secondary preferred
  • Relevant warehousing and sales experience
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • Positive attitude and a desire for success
  • Work well in a team-based environment
  • Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs
