Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at itec group, Inc. as a Food Processing Equipment Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of automated machinery, with a focus on the food industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Perform Preventative Maintenance: The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues with high-speed packaging machines, robots, mixers, and other food processing equipment.
  • Machine Build Experience: Experience with machine build and assembly is considered an asset, as the candidate will be working closely with millwrights and maintenance technicians to complete daily tasks.
  • Breakdown Response: The candidate will be responsible for responding to breakdowns of all production machinery in the plant, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Collaboration and Communication: The successful candidate will work closely with millwrights and maintenance technicians to complete daily tasks, and will be responsible for communicating effectively with the production team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Mechanical Troubleshooting: The candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical troubleshooting as required, using their knowledge of automated machinery and mechanical ability to resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements
  • 433A Millwright License: The successful candidate will hold a valid 433A Millwright license, demonstrating their expertise in mechanical maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of Automated Machinery: The candidate will have a strong understanding of automated machinery and the mechanical ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Read Schematic Drawings: The successful candidate will be able to read schematic drawings to repair equipment, demonstrating their ability to work with technical documentation.
  • Professional Attitude and Work Ethic: The candidate will possess a professional attitude and strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Packaging Machinery: Experience with packaging machinery is considered a nice-to-have skill, as the candidate will be working with high-speed packaging machines and other food processing equipment.
  • Food/Bottling Industry Experience: Experience in the food or bottling industry is also considered a nice-to-have skill, as the candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on food processing and packaging.
