Salary Information

The starting salary for this role is $23 per hour, with opportunities for growth and professional development.



Job Responsibilities

This CNC Machinist Junior will be responsible for producing or repairing precision parts using various machine tools and equipment. Key duties include:



  • Machining parts according to specifications using lathes, milling machines, and saws;
  • Operating 3 to 5 axis machining centers or CNC lathes;
  • Performing setup assemblies according to work instructions;
  • Collaborating effectively within a team environment and working independently when needed;
  • Ensuring quality control by testing and verifying manufactured parts using conventional measuring instruments and adjusting settings as required;
  • Maintaining a clean workstation, machines, and tools provided;
  • Using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial comparators;
  • Reading and understanding technical drawings and their tolerances;
  • Daily preventive maintenance of machine tools;
  • Other related tasks associated with the position.


Required Skills and Qualifications

A successful candidate must possess:



  • A DEP in machining technology and ASP numerical control or equivalent experience;
  • Knowledge of metrology and reading technical plans;
  • Bilingualism (functional) is considered an asset;
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic;
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality results and maintaining a sense of responsibility.
