Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Drilling Floorhand to join our team at Precision Drilling Canada Limited Partnership. As a key member of our drilling crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling equipment on oil and gas rigs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and operation of drilling equipment, including pipes, drill stems, and drill bits.
  • Handle, sort, and move drill pipes, tools, and other materials as required.
  • Clean up rig areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist in the transportation of drilling equipment and materials.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the drilling crew and other stakeholders.

Working Conditions

  • Work will be performed on oil and gas rigs, which can be located in various locations throughout Canada.
  • Work will be performed in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
