Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Reads Heating Edmonton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Accurately receive, store, and ship inventory, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and organized.
  • Pallet Building and Management: Build and manage pallets of goods, ensuring that they are properly stacked and secured.
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick orders and stock, ensuring that all items are accurately selected and packaged.
  • Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage or defects, and report any issues to management.
  • Inventory Reporting: Generate and maintain accurate inventory reports, including stock levels and movement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
