We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team at Hook and Ladder Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities.

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of technical expertise and physical stamina. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify and repair issues with heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, contacting tradespersons for major repairs as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in maintenance and repair.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, reliability, and dependability.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
