Job Summary
The Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB) is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist - Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our clients by assessing their functional abilities, developing and implementing treatment plans, and adapting the environment to optimize autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the rehabilitation needs of disabled employees and direct them to necessary resources
- Coordinate the implementation of the collaborative work support and reintegration program
- Develop and implement personalized return to work plans focusing on active participation of employees, managers, and partners
- Evaluate and analyze the return to work process to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement
- Participate in the production and interpretation of indicators related to the work support and reintegration process
Requirements
- Master's degree in occupational therapy
- Member of the Ordre professionnel des ergothérapeutes du Québec
- Minimum of two years of experience in occupational therapy
- Work experience in an interdisciplinary team
- Participation in education or training activities in rehabilitation
Language
Fluent in English and French; fluency in Cree is an asset
Other
Willing to travel and work in another community on a regular basis
