The position of Executive Director at NALSC offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to advancing justice and human rights for the Anishinabek people.
About the PositionReporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of NALSC, including strategic planning, program development, and financial management.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in leadership roles, preferably in the non-profit sector or government agencies serving indigenous communities.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in law, business administration, finance, human resources, or related fields is required.
- Experience with geographic area of NALSC's jurisdiction is an asset.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, partners, and community leaders.
Benefits- Competitive salary range: $125,077 annually.
- 6% pension matching.
- 100% employer-paid health benefits.
- Three weeks paid vacation after the first year.
