Job Title: Network Security EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team in Toronto. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting network and security technologies, including firewalls, IPS/IDS, and NAC solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network and security technologies
- Participate in the implementation of network security technologies, including firewalls, IPS/IDS, and NAC solutions
- Collaborate with the Network Security Manager to ensure the security and integrity of our network
- Perform incident management and troubleshooting during critical events
- Develop and maintain documentation of the current cloud network architecture
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in network security, including experience with firewalls, IPS/IDS, and NAC solutions
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, Layer 3 switching, ACLs, and Spanning Tree
- Experience with routing protocols, including OSPF, BGP, and MPLS VPN
- Experience with Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Cisco Firepower firewalls
- Ability to perform TCP/IP network traces and packet captures
- Ability to analyze packet captures using Wireshark and other related technologies
