Dessert Cafe Shift Manager

We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Dspot Dessert Cafe. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe during your shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Plan and coordinate work schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing.
- Train Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Determine the necessary ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure they are available.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address any customer complaints or concerns.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Combination of Sitting and Standing: Spend time sitting and standing, with occasional walking.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, including during peak hours.
- 1-2 Years of Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
- Permanent Position: This is a permanent position, offering a stable and secure work environment.
- English Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Hours of Work: Work 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
