About This Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to transport products throughout the warehouse. You will also be responsible for preparing orders based on provided summaries to accurately load products onto delivery trucks.

The Details:

Rate: $26.39

Work Days: Monday-Friday (Some weekends may be required during peak seasons).

Shift: 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Premium: $1.00/hour on night shift

Responsibilities
  • Shunt trailers around the distribution centre.
  • Operate a forklift to transport products throughout the warehouse.
  • Prepare orders based on provided summaries to accurately load products onto delivery trucks.
  • Ensure order accuracy and secure products for transport before loading into trucks for delivery to customers.
  • Operate industrial powered equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Meet daily productivity requirements.
  • Move product and/or materials manually as required.
  • Stage completed pallets in designated shipping areas.
  • Consistently bend, kneel, climb, and lift 50+ pounds.
Qualifications
  • Experience shunting trailers is required.
  • Experience operating a forklift is required.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Prior warehouse/production/equipment service experience.
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
