Rah-Firdaus Foods & Fashions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Safety Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our environmental health team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our food products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety and handling, with experience in conducting inspections and investigations. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential food safety risks, and for developing and implementing strategies to prevent foodborne illnesses.
We are looking for a candidate who is highly organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working closely with our production team, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure that our food products meet all relevant safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of our food production facilities to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Investigate food safety incidents and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences
- Develop and implement food safety training programs for our production team
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that all food products meet our quality and safety standards
- Communicate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. food science, environmental health, public health)
- 2+ years of experience in food safety and handling
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
