Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobility Systems Engineer to join our team in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) for the On-Corridor Works project. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in reducing the carbon footprint of Canada's busiest public transit system.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing input needs and requirements, designing solutions by reusing existing solutions or developing new ones, and providing technical interface with non-signaling teams. You will also support the System Engineering Manager and Project Engineering Manager for technical answers to project needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member of the project engineering team
  • Review deliverables from non-signaling teams for impact to signaling scope
  • Deliver signaling solution and design information to non-signaling teams
  • Perform migration planning, block design, and signal plan development activities
  • Translate customer needs into achievable system requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Systems Engineering or equivalent design experience
  • Professional Engineer certification or in progress

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience. Alstom offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings options and paid time off.
