Company Overview

We are currently seeking a customer-focused individual to provide counter services to customers. As a Mail Service Representative, you will be part of our team that makes a difference in the lives of Canadians.

Job Responsibilities
  • Sell Postal Products: You will sell postal products and services to the business community and public.
  • Sort and Process Mail: Sort, distribute, and process mail into appropriate classifications.
  • Customer Support: Provide customers with information and forms.
  • Problem Resolution: Address delivery and service difficulties to resolve problems thoroughly and quickly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: High school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration is required.
  • Public Interaction: Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
  • Accounting Systems: Understanding of general or post office accounting systems.
  • Physical Abilities: Physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work.
