The Toronto District School Board is seeking qualified Technological Education teachers for secondary teaching positions.
We are looking for candidates who can teach a variety of subjects, including Health Care, Hairstyling and Aesthetics, Transportation Technology, Construction Technology, Technological Design, Hospitality Services, Manufacturing Technology, Communications Technology, Computer Technology, and Green Industries.
Requirements:
- Candidates in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers are preferred.
- For those who do not have a teaching degree, the Board may apply to the Ministry of Education for a Letter of Permission in certain circumstances.
Application Process:
Applicants must apply online using the Board's electronic application process. All applicants must complete a new application for consideration to the Eligible to Hire (ETH) list. The online application is available on the TDSB website at www.tdsb.on.ca by selecting Employment > Teaching > Secondary.
Required documents include an online application form, cover letter, résumé, Certificate of Qualification, and practice teaching reports or teacher evaluation reports. Reference letters are optional.
