Job Description:

We're looking for a Production Manager who can effectively coordinate and manage multiple productions simultaneously. As the primary point of contact for production contractors, stage management, lighting, costumes, makeup, and other technical teams, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of all aspects of production.

  • Production Administration: Manage and maintain accurate records of production schedules, budgets, and personnel
  • Supervision of Contractors: Oversee the work of contractors, including stage management, lighting, and costume designers
  • Budget Management: Develop and implement effective budgeting strategies to ensure successful production outcomes
  • Crew Hiring: Coordinate the hiring of crew members, including stage management, lighting, and costume staff
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A university or college degree in theatre production or equivalent training
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in technical theatre production
  • Proven experience producing accurate show costing in a theatrical environment
  • An understanding of current production and technical practices within theatre, including sound, lighting, projection, and set construction
