Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at United Coastal Logistics Ltd. This role is perfect for individuals with excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. Additionally, they will oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, perform brake adjustments, and handle emergency roadside repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Goods: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently to ensure timely delivery and minimize damage.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle's condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and other essential systems.
  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency repairs to get the vehicle back on the road quickly and safely.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to optimize routes and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is necessary for communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires sitting for extended periods, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
Compensation and Benefits
