Physician Opportunities in Hospital Medicine Program

The Hospital Medicine Program at SRPC - CA is seeking skilled physicians to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for adult inpatients.
- Participate in a week-long, 7-day coverage schedule (Saturday – Friday).
- Collaborate with a team of hospitalists, with flexibility in patient assignment.
- Ensure adequate in-house coverage, with at least one hospitalist on site at all times.
- Be available by telephone for consultation and support.
- Participate in a comprehensive backup system, including Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Ob/Gyn, Ortho, Physiatry, and Urology.
- Establish and maintain strong links with tertiary care centers for seamless patient referrals.
Practice Profile:
- 30 Medical/Surgical beds, including Acute Long-Term Care (ALC) beds, and a 4-bed Level 2 Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR), eScription, Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Computed Tomography (CT), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for efficient patient care.
Remuneration:
- Competitive Fee-for-Service compensation, plus a daily stipend of $600 (weekday/weekend day).
