Join Our Team as a Global Equity Trading Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Global Equity Trading Developer. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on full-stack projects for various internal trading desks, develop trading applications and algorithmic trading tools leveraging new technologies, and create automated reports on trading activity for clients and internal use.

About the Role:

  • Develop and manage systems integral to our business
  • Gain a unique view into the workings of trading at one of Canada's largest investment banks
  • Work on full-stack projects for a variety of internal trading desks
  • Create automated reports on trading activity for clients and internal use
  • Design and manage databases containing market data and trade information

Requirements:

  • Strong programming and analytical skills with prior experience in one or more of Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL, MongoDB, Angular, HTML/CSS, and C# with special emphasis on Python and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of or a passion for the financial markets
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
