Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Days Inn & Suites. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, handle and report lost and found items.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced urban area hotel environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Requirements: No degree, certificate or diploma required, experience an asset, punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week, permanent position, working in a team environment.
  • Language: English.
