Job Description

As an Infrastructure Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the supervision, planning, execution, and monitoring of assigned projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Procuring all aspects of project daily diaries – written and photographic
  • Ensuring quality measures are met and promoting company health and safety policies with employees, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Providing Contract Administrators with summaries for invoicing (month-end, project completion) including contract work and extra work
  • Participating in pre-job planning and effectively planning short-term and long-term schedules for all aspects of a project (subcontractors, internal work)

You will be responsible for understanding and complying with bid estimates, project schedules, and project specifications to adequately instruct foremen and subcontractors in the performance of their work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A diploma in civil engineering technology or construction management (asset)
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisor experience on heavy civil construction projects
  • Experience in managing all aspects of road building and civil infrastructure projects
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
  • A valid G driver's license
  • Willingness to work nights/weekends when scheduled
