About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist - CNC Operator to join our team at George A Wright & Son Limited. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain CNC Machines: Set up and adjust production machineries/tools, maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments, and verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with our team to achieve production goals and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Quality Control: Verify the quality of produced parts and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Environment: This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods.
