We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and educating patients and families on health-related topics.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to other nursing staff, including mentoring and coaching.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses & Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and patients.
