About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Fort Richmond Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre Inc. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop personalized physiotherapy programs to address their needs.
    • Administer evaluative tests and procedures to diagnose and treat a range of conditions.
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to promote optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
    • Select and utilize appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Confer with other health professionals to share knowledge, best practices, and patient outcomes.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical and progress records.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
    • Be licensed by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Have experience working in a sports therapy or orthopedic setting.
    • Be proficient in administering evaluative tests and procedures.
    • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Area of Specialization
    • Have experience with acupuncture or other alternative therapies.
