About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Investment Funds Advisor to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a critical role in supporting clients in achieving their financial goals through effective investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients in implementing investment strategies to meet their financial objectives
  • Conduct client discovery processes to understand their financial needs and goals
  • Develop and deliver personalized business plans to acquire and retain clients
  • Collaborate with financial advisory professionals to conduct presentations and deepen relationships with Canadian Armed Forces members and families
  • Leverage CRM systems to manage client relationships and business development activities
  • Complete trades and mutual fund order entry forms, and ensure completion of client forms and address client requests
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
  • Current Mutual Funds License (MFDA/AMF) with either Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) Course or Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  • Investment Funds Course (IFC)
  • Certified Financial Planner, an asset
  • Experience in providing advice to clients, investment services, and working in a branch environment
