Role Overview
  • This role requires an Actuarial Analyst to work collaboratively with peers to support actuarial projects ensuring profitability of the Commercial, Farm, & IRCA lines of business.

The ideal candidate will have critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions, and proactively propose solutions. Strong communication skills are also required to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.

Responsibilities
  • Support rate change projects and update various actuarial pricing models.
  • Work with various databases, programming languages, and modeling software to contribute to actuarial initiatives.
  • Communicate basic actuarial concepts to peers and maintain documentation of key actuarial functions.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of data sources including the ability to reconcile to other sources.
  • Uphold professional ethics, values, procedures, and policies that support organizational and professional standards.
