Environmental Remediation Program Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Environmental Remediation Program Manager to join our team at Parsons Oman.
About the Role:
This is a challenging field-based position where you will be responsible for overseeing environmental remediation programs, including site supervision, sample collection, and data management. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will work closely with project coordinators/managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise subcontractors associated with environmental field programs, including site remediation, drilling, and excavation activities.
- Oversee health and safety protocols for Parsons' and subcontractor staff on remediation and environmental investigation programs.
- Support contract administration, tracking project schedule progress, and monitoring costs.
- Communicate project data findings and timelines to project coordinators/managers.
- Operate various types of field monitoring equipment, including GPS, data loggers, and survey levels.
- Maintain accurate field notes, safety forms, and laboratory chain-of-custody forms.
Requirements:
- Diploma in earth sciences, environmental technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of applicable field experience in environmental assessment/remediation and/or infrastructure redevelopment projects.
- Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with and instruct subcontractors on project requirements.
Benefits:
Parsons Oman offers a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health, vision, dental, employer-paid provincial care premiums, defined contribution pension plan (DCPP), tax-free savings account (TFSA), registered retirement savings plan (RRSP), life insurance, paid time off, sick leave, all province-observed holidays off, and gym membership discounts.
