We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team at VI Kidz Kompany Childcare Group Ltd.

About the Role

This is a $35,000 - $45,000 per year opportunity to work with children and support their growth and development. As an Early Childhood Education Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that promotes physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development in children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess children's development to prepare learning plans tailored to their needs.
  • Assist coworkers in housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain daycare equipment.
  • Storytelling.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers.
  • Synthesize children's situations and communicate information to parents.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various mediums.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations.
  • Establish guidelines for behavior.
  • Ability to multitask.
