The Department of Medical Imaging at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is a world-renowned institution dedicated to providing exceptional care and advancing medical imaging technologies.

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Radiologist to join our Cardiothoracic Division, specializing in Cardiothoracic Imaging.

Overview of Our Services

  • Our department offers a comprehensive range of services, including emergency and trauma, oncology, airways and interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary embolism, coronary artery disease, and ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathies.
  • We are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including 4 new dual energy CT scanners, 2 3Tesla MRI Scanners, 2 1.5Tesla MRI scanners, 1 PET-CT Scanner, and a research PET-MR scanner.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting cardiac and thoracic imaging exams, teaching and mentoring residents and fellows, and participating in academic activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Candidates must hold a Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent.
  • They must be eligible for medical licensure in the Province of Ontario with sufficient experience to perform and teach cardiac and thoracic MRI and CT.
  • A minimum of one year of post-residency fellowship training in thoracic imaging or cardiothoracic imaging is required.
