We are seeking a Data Support Analyst to join the Wealth Technology group at CI Wealth in this Business Intelligence Support Specialist role. The Data and Analytics team supports the organization by managing data, implementing data governance, reporting, and providing business intelligence insights. As a Business Intelligence Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting data operations and troubleshooting data-related issues (job errors and data discrepancies).

About the Role
  • You will respond promptly to inquiries and requests for information from stakeholders.
  • Monitor daily data processes and provide necessary status reporting.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify issues and escalate when necessary.
Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both operations support and data processes. Responsibilities include:

  1. Initial issue resolution and escalation when necessary.
  2. Documentation of operational process flows.
  3. Identifying areas for improvement in data operational processes and collaborating with analysts and engineers to implement enhancements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in systems support and data troubleshooting.
  • A post-secondary degree in a technical discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to perform data investigations via data queries.
  • Familiarity with logging technologies, such as AWS CloudWatch or Log4j.
