Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at GESTION SEDZ INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including servers, cooks, and dishwashers.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met, and that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stocking of food and supplies.
  • Develop and implement menus, specials, and promotions to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, and ensure that staff are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and events, to promote the food service department and increase revenue.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
