About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled mental health professional to join our team as a Clinical Therapist. This is a temporary, full-time position with approximately 10 months duration.

The successful candidate will provide evidence-based psycho-social assessments and treatments to adults (19 years and older) with Tier-3 mental disorders and substance use disorders. The Clinical Therapist will work within a Stepped Care framework, guided by disorder-based clinical care pathways.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver time-limited, evidence-based psycho-social assessments and treatments
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in a consultation group for collegial support and effectiveness of assessments and treatments

As a Clinical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a wide range of clinical areas, from generalist to more specialized interventions. We offer flexible work schedules and prioritize ongoing professional development.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a clinical health-related discipline
  • Current registration with relevant provincial regulatory body or eligible
  • Minimum two (2) years' related experience required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of standard criteria used for the classification and diagnosis of mental health disorders
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently with limited supervision
What We Offer

A competitive salary ranging from $37.31 to $49.04 per hour, depending on experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
