Clinical Dietitian and Nutrition Care Specialist

Role OverviewThe successful candidate will work as a Clinical Dietitian, providing expert nutrition care to adult patients in an acute care setting. This role requires a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and collaboration with interprofessional teams.
The ideal candidate will have current membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario, preferably with membership in Dietitians of Canada (DC) and CNSC designation. A minimum of 2 years' experience in nutrition care support in an acute care setting is also required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert nutrition care to adult patients in an acute care setting.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify nutritional needs and develop treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care.
- Degree in Dietetics or related field from an accredited institution.
- Current membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
- Membership in Dietitians of Canada (DC), preferably.
- CNSC designation, an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in nutrition care support in an acute care setting.
- Excellent assessment, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated competency with EMR charting systems, CBORD, and associated computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interprofessional team.
- Access to own transportation to travel between sites.
- Demonstrated good attendance and performance records.
- Commitment to a healthy and safe workplace.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $40.40 - $51.45 per hour, commensurate with experience.
