Work Setting:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to provide excellent customer service and ensure the quality of our food and service.

Tasks:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure the efficient operation of our kitchen.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards of quality and freshness.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to our high standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that we are meeting our targets and objectives.
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and be able to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays to ensure that all food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
Supervision:

You will be responsible for supervising staff in various areas of responsibility, including food preparation, service and cleaning.

Transportation/Travel Information:

Own transportation is required, as public transportation is not available.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a team to provide excellent customer service.
