We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare.
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy and the resident plan of care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
- Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Ensure the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics.
- Respect each resident as an individual and be aware of their need for self-respect and privacy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Able to deal with others in an effective, compassionate, and supportive manner.
- Aware of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other pertinent Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statutes.
- Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record check.
All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
