">Job Description
">As a Pediatrician with Horizon Health Network, you will be part of a collaborative team providing full-time practice in General Pediatrics, including inpatient and outpatient care. Your responsibilities will include:
">- ">
- Providing consultations to hospital-based patients as requested by attending staff">
- Participating in departmental medical education initiatives">
- Offering on-call services during statutory holidays, evenings, and weekends as part of the on-call schedule for the Department">
- Participating in departmental and other appropriate pediatrics and hospital committees">
- Engaging in medical practice that is compatible with the Health Authority's mission, values, and strategic directions">
- Performing other duties assigned by the Department of Pediatrics">
Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you must possess:
">- ">
- A Medical Degree from a recognized medical school and postgraduate studies (residency) in the field of Pediatric Medicine">
- A valid license to practice medicine in New Brunswick through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick (CPSNB)">
- Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada">
- Written and spoken competence in English at an advanced level (Bilingual skills are considered an asset)">
- Experience working within a collaborative environment as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide safe and quality patient care">
- A strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, supporting our goal of safe and quality patient care">
