Job Title: Medical Response Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Response Specialist to join our team at Bravo Target Safety. As a Medical Response Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing medical standby-by services and responding to emergencies in the Winnipeg area. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for emergency medical services, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical standby-by services and respond to emergencies as per your training and provincial scope of practice.
  • Set up or update STARS site numbers and complete BTS paperwork packages.
  • Conduct and maintain proper and accurate headcounts unless otherwise advised.
  • Review and advise on emergency response plans as it relates to a specific site and scope.
  • Conduct site safety tours and pre-job inspections prior to completing hazard assessments.
  • Participate in all Safety Meetings and review SDS for hazardous materials.
  • Incident reporting and assisting in investigations as required.
  • Participate in emergency drills as required by Bravo Target Safety and/or the Client.
  • Maintain emergency response apparatuses as per manufacturer's recommendations and related standards require.

Requirements:
  • Active Manitoba College of Paramedics Registration.
  • 2 years of PCP experience.
  • Reside or have reliable transportation to and from Nisku work site.
  • Clean Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level A or C (or equivalent).
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
  • H2S Alive.
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of the job and work within a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work away from home for extended periods of time, work long hours, and be able to work both day and night shift.
  • Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing.
