About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at SSS Services Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them with precision, ensuring that all metal parts and products meet the required standards.
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate execution.
  • Metal Fabrication and Repair: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products, and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Material Evaluation: Determine the weldability of materials and ensure that all metal parts and products meet the required standards.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Site Environment: Work in a variety of environments, including outdoors, confined spaces, and dusty areas.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, and manual dexterity.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
