Heavy Equipment Operator

Fort McMurray, Canada Pattar Transport Full time

Pattar Transport is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a dump truck driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, and overseeing the condition of the vehicle. You will also be required to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and ensure the safety and security of cargo. The ideal candidate will have a valid Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A). We offer a permanent position with 40 to 50 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Ensuring the safety and security of cargo
