About the Role

Cascade Aerospace is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team as a Mechanic (AVN) for the CC130J aircraft. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhauls in accordance with Canadian Forces and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhauls in accordance with Canadian Forces and industry standards.
  • Complete associated documentation in accordance with Canadian Forces and industry standards.
  • Ensure all repairs and modifications are performed in accordance with customer check packages, Transport Canada Regulations, and Quality Control Procedures.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians to ensure work tasks are performed efficiently and accurately.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCCA or applicable governing body) or military course(s) equivalent.
  • 48+ months' experience performing duties within the scope of their trade and holder of Transport Canada AME-M license or DND equivalent certification/authorization levels.
  • CC130 B-H & J Aircraft DND/military experience is considered an asset.
  • Currently hold or capable of getting Controlled Goods Program Clearance and Secret Security Clearance.
