KidsAbility Centre for Child Development is a highly respected, complex, and ever-changing not-for-profit organization that provides a full spectrum of rehabilitation services to children from birth to school departure in Waterloo Region and the County of Wellington.

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and visionary Chief Executive Officer who is highly visible and politically astute with a passion for serving children and youth with disabilities and their families. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, caring, and courageous leader who can inspire and motivate staff through an inclusive and engaging leadership style and work collaboratively with families, funders, and community partners to ensure the continued success of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a highly respected organization in the field of pediatric rehabilitation
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the continued success of our programs
  • Work collaboratively with families, funders, and community partners to achieve our goals
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of dedicated staff
  • Ensure the financial sustainability of the organization
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have seven to ten years of proven experience in a leadership capacity in the community-based non-profit sector and will hold a Master's level degree in business, public or health administration, health sciences or another relevant field. The candidate will also have excellent interpersonal skills, proficient team building skills, and an understanding of working in a culturally diverse and changing community environment.
