Brandt is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at our Cranbrook Construction & Forestry location.

This role involves the repair and maintenance of construction and forestry based equipment and attachments in a shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and maintain accurate records of work completed.
  • Use safety protocols and best practices to ensure efficient and effective work processes.
  • Collaborate with the service team and branch personnel to achieve service excellence.
  • Utilize computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis.
  • Order parts and materials as needed to support equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is preferred.
  • Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
