Emergency Medicine Specialist for a Prestigious NHS Trust

We are seeking an exceptional Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team at Triple West Medical. As a Consultant in Emergency Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our A&E department.

• Sharing responsibility with other Consultants for the initial care and reception of all patients attending the Emergency Department.
• Continuing responsibility for those patients who remain under the care of the Emergency Department.
• Monitoring the interface between primary and secondary care and managing the resuscitation admitting areas and transfer of patients to in-patient services.
• Providing emergency cover for the absent consultant colleague, including clinical supervision to junior staff caring for emergency patients.
• Participating fully in the departmental Core Trainee and Middle Grade Training programme along with providing situational teaching on the shop floor.
• Participating in the design and completion of audit projects leading to improvements in practice and contributing to the development of Clinical Quality Standards.

• Fully GMC Registered
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a dynamic team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Experience working in a busy A&E environment is desirable

• A competitive salary: £100,000 - £150,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
