About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Lunar Early Childhood Learning Academy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that foster a love for learning, including storytelling, singing, and exploring local points of interest.
  • Support children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Monitor children's progress and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment for children.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes children's well-being.
  • Organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Paid time off (volunteering or personal days)
  • Permanent work term
  • English language proficiency
  • 30-40 hours per week
