We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at 49 North Mechanical Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
Requirements:
  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
  • Plumber Trade Certification
  • Excellent oral communication skills
