Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Reinsurance Placement position plays a key role in the reinsurance team. This individual supports the placement of reinsurance programs that align with our corporate strategy. Collaboration across teams, including personal, commercial, claims, actuarial, finance, and external reinsurance brokers and reinsurers, is essential.

This role involves supporting the annual end-to-end reinsurance placement process. Responsibilities include preparing underwriting submissions, presentation materials, and reinsurance/reinsurer strategies. The analyst will also develop marketing and background materials for reinsurer engagements, analyze and reconcile data, and maintain reinsurance placement data/documents. Additionally, this role entails quarterly reinsurance forecasting, leading delivery of reinsurance analysis, and supporting reinsurance accounting and finance activities.

Requirements:

1. University degree in business, finance, or related field.
2. Accounting, actuarial, or insurance designation preferred.
3. 3+ years' experience in financial and analytical roles in insurance and/or reinsurance industry.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
5. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
